No toilets on the field but facilities are available in the Marina Complex
Lloyds Bar in the Marina Complex
Several eateries in the Marina Complex
Large Supermarket on the other side of the motorway.

LORDSHILL

Flying Site
A large field which is situated behind the 'David Lloyd Sports Centre'
Any direction except from an Easterly is good for Lordshill
It depends on the wind direction, usually towards the most upwind area and this changes with the conditions. Look for a group of buggiers and boarders and introduce yourself. The usual suspects are very friendly!

Precautions
There are No Bans and No Restrictions
There is a football pitch, cricket oval, and rugby pitch, but the cricket and rugby pitches are well out of the way. Rugby matches don't hinder flying
There tend to be a few walkers, so watch out for young children and dogs. Also there can be crowds of local youths passing by to get from housing estates to other areas. Basically be safe and watch out for human traffic

Parking
There is a car park literally on the side of the flying site. It can hold about 50 cars, but I have not counted. It is never full and it is free, but it does have a height restriction
On the verge of the road leading up to the car park (used by large vans too high to get into the car park)

Facilities
At the Rugby Club clubhouse, however these are only open when there are Rugby matches being played
In Southampton Centre or the New Forest
In Southampton Centre or the New Forest
The nearest main shops are Southampton City Centre, but there are some small corner shops towards the centre of Lordshill
In the New Forest.

Flying Site
A relatively small field suitable for Static and Landboarding
South Westerlys
SEKA Members can normally be found near the car park

Precautions
No Bans - but please respect the rugby club grounds
Rugby training sessions are played here and they take priority, please stay out of there way
Try to avoid 3:30 to 4:30 when the school empties - they use the field to get home and WILL get in your way

Free at the Rugby grounds
On Street Parking on Ashley Road

Facilities
In the pub!
The Ashley, about 4 minutes walk
Local Newsagent about 5 minutes away
