Peter Lynn Venom II 2
The Peter Lynn Venom is a medium aspect kite that builds on many of the previous twin skin kites to make an amazing kite. There are a number of good features that have all come together to work great.
This kite is proving very popular for board riders in water and on land. The stability makes it ideal for inland gusty conditions and the huge power, lift and float make freestyle much more fun. Linked with the huge depower range allow one kite to perform well in many differing wind conditions.
Please talk to us about kite size choice and colours as this is an advanced kite not for beginners and may not suit all flyers.
The kite is available as kite only or ready to fly complete with 27m lines and Peter Lynn Zero 4 bar system.
Performance: Fast turning the smaller cell spacing gives the kite more rigidity for a snappier bottom turn. The Venom responds quickly to every move you put into the bar.
Lift: New profile in the Venom gives the kite greater lift without even having to be as powered up. The smooth lower skin of the kite keeps efficent airflow resulting in maximum float and softer landings.
Smooth Power: The flying speed is not affected by the amount of tension you put on the rear lines therefore you have constant power and a quick turning kite.
Depower: The wind ranges of the Venom is huge. The top end of each size just doesn't seem to stop. When you're riding at the top end of the wind range with the power adjuster pulled in the rear lines are not slack. You will still have a fast steering kite with great response.
Cell-Spacing: The decreased cell-spacing compared to earlier twin skin kites creates more rigidity and a smoother skin for quicker turning and better performance.
Flight Adjuster: Extra adjustment strap inside the kite to set it to your riding style and required bar pressure.
Wingtip inflation zippers: Easier to inflate your kite, for a safer and easier launch.
Launch Assistant Tag: Velcro tabs to hold the lines make self launching much easier.
Water Relaunching: Because of the stability of the Peter Lynn Twin Skins it is very rare they ever hit the water but if it does, the waterproof taped seams and the valve design trap the air inside the kite, and make it very hard for water to get in. The trapped air keeps the whole kite floating on top of the water, so there is nothing stopping the kite from taking off.
Wing Tip Sticks: The new design wind top compact sticks and removal system make assembly and packing easy.
