Introduced in 2005 the JD Bug® Eco is an ideal scooter for smaller, younger riders and with its smaller footplate and lower rider height is the perfect scooter for the beginner learning to ride scooters for the very first time. Finished in a polished aluminium with colour options for handlebars, griptape and wheels this scooter appeals to all children.

The Eco Bug® is a cheaper version of the JD Bug and features a basic folding mechanism, this scooter is suitable for ages 5 and above.
The new eco bug features massive 5 inch wheels to speed up this scooter.
The scooter is the the lightest scooter in the range and had no strap to keep the weight down.

It is also recognised as the safest folding aluminium scooter in the UK. The JD Bug scooter has passed the following safety standards which have been in place since the scooter was first put into production or specially carried out to confirm to Trading Standards what was already known to us that safety in all areas is not an issue with the Bug

1) GS mark, by TUV Germany.
2) CATRA Product Metallurgical Test.
3) STR Product Safety Test.
4) STR Entrapment Hazard Test.
